ORTHOTICSplus differs from other orthotics as our intention is not to correct your feet, but rather to adapt your off-the-shelf shoe to fit your foot in its functional position. They should be very comfortable. They provide a natural contour to fit your arch, not to hold it up. This compensates for the pressure of the shoe upper, laces, strap, or elastic, which tend to force the arch down.
Priority Balancing reactivates seven dysfunctions that virtually always result from foot distortion. An uncorrected shoe is the cause. You will need inserts as long as you wish to wear shoes that fit. Wearing uncorrected shoes will result in a recurrence of these undermining dysfunctions in a few days to a few weeks, depending on the amount of strain on the feet.
Priority Balancing is not medicine or chiropractic or physiotherapy, and persons trained in Priority Balancing do not diagnose or treat disease or illness unless they have appropriate training and licence to do so. Balanced structure and musculature contribute to a harmonized physical expression and therefore preclude the need for therapy.
